Our college SMK Fomra Institute of Technology follows the curriculum and syllabi prescribed by Anna University. The college ensures effective curriculum delivery in a systematic manner as follows:

1. Academic calendar—College academic calendar is consistent with the university assessment schedule and includes unit-wise completion. HoDs assign workload, allot subjects, plan activities and conduct staff meetings. Principal monitors effective implementation of academic calendar in meetings with HoDs
2. Timetable—Time Table is displayed on department Notice Board and posted on student WhatsApp groups. University syllabus is provided with objectives and outcomes for each subject.
3. Lesson Plan—Lesson plan prepared by the faculties in accordance with COs and POs. Unit-wise assessment of curriculum delivery is done by HoDs
4. Laboratories—Well-equipped modernized laboratories enable students to execute their experiments as per syllabus.
5. Library—Central library hosts an exhaustive collection of text books and reference books, to aid in understanding course fundamentals. E-library provides a rich source of research contents with access to reputed journals, NPTEL, NITTR portals, etc.
6. Teaching—Conventional chalk and talk method is preferred. Methods like seminar, group discussion, quiz, case study for effective delivery of curriculum are followed. Study materials, notes and question banks are posted in the student WhatsApp groups. Guest lectures, Workshops and Industrial visits are organized each semester. ICT classrooms are utilized on regular basis.
7. Feedback—The college collects the feedback from the faculty, students, alumni and parents. Feedback is analyzed on and performance of the faculty/institution is assessed. Any discrepancies identified are corrected and suggestions are taken for improvement.
