Electrical & Electronics Engineering is one of the core branches of engineering. Studying Electrical engineering acts as a base for understanding the essence behind production, utilization & distribution of electrical energy. From second years, students gain knowledge on Electromagnetic Theory, Electronic Devices and Circuits, Electrical Machines, Transmission and Distribution, Discrete Time Systems and Signal Processing, Measurements and Instrumentation, Power System Analysis, Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Power Plant Engineering, Power Electronics, Control Systems, Solid State Drives, Design of Electrical Machines, Power System Operation and Control, Embedded Systems, High Voltage Engineering, Protection and Switchgear, Special Electrical Machines, Electric Energy Generation, Utilization and Conservation and other relevant core subjects. By the end of final year, students are well equipped with the profound knowledge regarding the working and application of electrical systems and engineering.
